Sushi-Zen supports numerous nonprofit organizations and good causes that address local community needs by hosting fundraising days and donating a percentage of meal proceeds back to the organization.

For our 20^th anniversary in 2017-2018, we held 20 fundraisers for 20 worthy causes. As we celebrate our 25^th anniversary in 2022, we will continue holding  fundraisers that benefit and strengthen our wonderful community.

Additionally, we donate a portion of sales from our menu items to various disaster relief organizations helping people in the U.S. and abroad following natural disasters and other crisis events.

During the pandemic we collected hundreds of pounds of groceries from our wonderful customers and business neighbors for the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Recently we also participated in the Buy A Nurse Lunch program, donating discounted lunches to the hardworking staff at Virginia Hospital Center. 

We focus on COVID-related needs, educational/youth development causes, our local food bank, and health/wellness efforts.
